Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel has taken to social media to share his thoughts on why marriages don’t last anymore.
Divorce rate has been spiking across the globe in recent years, with relationship experts giving various explanations for the trend.
Majid Michel, who has been married for 15 years now, took to social media to give what he felt was the reason for the worrisome trend.
According to him, the is the foundation, as he said most people begin relationships thinking about sex. As a result, after they’ve had sex, they do not know how to be friends.
He wrote:
“interviewer: So Majid why do you think relationships and even marriages don’t last? Majid: well, if you are going out on a first date and all you are thinking about is sex, therein lies the problem. People don’t know how to have a relationship outside of just a sexual relationship. they don’t know how to talk to a person, they don’t know how to be friends. and this is the reason a lot of relationships and marriages are breaking down.”
