The lesson to be learned today is that you don’t mess around with the Football Association – because they will get the last laugh.

On the heels of a Twitter user posting an image of England’s alleged lineup for Euro 2016 – making special note that a leak inside the organization had misspelled Nathaniel Clyne’s name (as Nathanial) and revealed that Jack Wilshere would be in while Danny Welbeck was out – the Football Association took the opportunity to very clearly state that the report was fake with a simple, though pretty funny, meme:

The user later revealed that the posting was, in fact, a fake, made out of boredom.

The Football Association has not yet announced the lineup for the tournament.

Roy Hodgson still has several big decisions will still need to be made between now and then: Whether to start Wayne Rooney up front after being so out of form this season as opposed to giving younger talents like Andy Carroll and Jermaine DeFoe a shot? Whether to take a risk on Jack Wilshere and Daniel Sturridge after their extensive injury spells this year? How many Leicester City players to start? All questions that still haven’t been answered today.
