Security operatives at the Lekki toll gate, an #EndSars protest ground, are reportedly shooting at the protesters.
According to reports making the rounds on social media, many protesters have been hit by bullets shot by Police officers deployed to the spot. Many are also reported injured.
Nigerian singer Davido also took to his page to share a video of the scene. In the video, several gunshot sounds could be heard as people scamper for safety
The shooting started after some men reportedly stormed the Lekki toll gate to remove the CCTV cameras at the site.
The Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, had earlier today declared a 24-hour curfew which was scheduled to start from 4 pm today.
