Drake’s “More Life” Is Breaking More Records
Did you celebrate Drake’s More Life by streaming his new music? You weren’t alone. The rapper’s new album, released March 18, broke the record for most streams in a single week in the U.S. with 385 million streams, according to Nielsen.
Billboard reports Drizzy broke the record set by his previous album, Views. Launching with 505,000 album unit sales in total and debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, More Life is easily the biggest new album of 2017 so far and could stand to maintain that title barring any surprise major releases.
As well, Drake managed a takeover of the Hot 100 charts, with all 22 More Life cuts charting alongside an additional pair of songs. That leaves the Toronto native standing with twenty-four songs on the chart, breaking his own personal record of simultaneous charted tracks. But the records don’t stop. Drizzy is now officially the most charted solo artist on Hot 100 with a staggering 154 entries, surpassing his mentor Lil Wayne’s former record of 135.To Receive Latest Music, Video & News Updates , Add Us To Your WhatsApp: 08035927807; BBM Pin: D1C43241
