When asked how they met, the bride shares this below …
People usually say husbands don’t come and meet you in your house, but for me, the reverse was the case.
He came to the house one early morning to pickup my sister. He was the assigned chaperone so i could allow my little sister go downtown with her friend and boyfriend. As a paranoid big sister, I took pictures of the car, plate number and of him lol.
We started talking after I made him buy me a pair of shoes I didn’t need lol. We realized we had a lot of things in common so we kept talking.
One time, he said to me “I will marry you” and I replied “you are crazy”.
We started dating soon after, but I was scared of opening up because we had to pray about it. I could not afford to have another horrible relationship. My mum prayed about him and told me he was good to go. I was so happy. His mum also prayed about us and gave us her blessings. I knew praying myself wasn’t going to be enough since I was already in love and didn’t want to mistake the butterflies in my tummy for the holy spirit lol. Four months into our relationship, our Pastor wanted to match make us lol. (We had not informed him that we were in a relationship). It wasn’t a coincidence at all. At that point we had to make it public.
The date is set, God is in control and we are overjoyed. #MacSimpa2018.
