Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu is resigning, with the entire board set to follow him, Entertainment Redefined can confirm.
The move has been greeted with excitement by Barcelona fans on social media.
The 57-year-old had come under heavy pressure to hand in his resignation amid turbulent scenes at the Catalan giants.

Sport are RAC1 are both reporting that Bartomeu tended his resignation this afternoon after a board meeting confirmed the vote of no confidence would go ahead no matter what.
The vote will no longer be needed now that Bartomeu and Co. have quit, but an election will have to be held to decide on a new president.
It remains to be seen who his successor will be, but it appears there will be a huge shake-up at the Nou Camp as they aim to bounce back from their few months of turmoil.
A number of candidates have already made it clear they want to replace Bartomeu including Victor Font, Joan Laporta and Jordi Farre.
Bartomeu took charge of Barcelona in 2014 following the resignation of Sandro Rosell, and despite early success under his reign things turned sour recently.
Last month he was accused of corruption by Catalan police, although he continues to deny the allegations.
